Radio Star

My dad's friend Laura Lavigne is a life coach from Seattle. She has a weekly radio show called "Chez Laura" (she's French), and I am one of the guest speakers this month! My show is called "Let's talk about 'being seventeen, Mormon, and gay!'"

"After graduation, my friend Tommy went to Brigham Young University. He was 17. A few months later, he called his family and told them that he needed to come home to tell them something important. This was three years ago and I have invited Tommy to come talk with me and share more of his story. A story of authenticity."

Check it out live on Jan. 12th at noon PST or hear it in the archives any time after that.

  3. Tommy, I really enjoyed listening to the program. You have some great insights into life in general. It's great to hear that you are doing so well. Keep it up! (I would still love to have the paper you wrote)

  4. I agree with the person who posted to FB, that Laura did an excellent job of pulling out the nuances of your story. Now, if we could get her to do a weekly story on a different MoHo every week, we'd really be cooking with gas! It would definitely bring some much needed light to this subject. So many people would just prefer to ignore this issue.

    Hugs!

  5. I just listened to your interview. Thank you for sharing your story. I am so happy that you found out and accepted who you are so young. My failure to do so has fundamentally destroyed my life. But, surprisingly, I'm not envious - I'm simply happy for you. Thanks Tommy.
